For this table, we use steel and wood structures for the strong structure. For the wooden part, we use the high-density fiberboard(HDF) with melamine board, this one is safe and environmentally friendly, anti-corrosion and wear-resistant, dirt-resistant, hygienic, and easy to clean. And the grain can be customized as you want. And the metal frame we will use the epoxy powder coated finish to make sure the frame is rustproof and waterproof. 
Why we use those materials to make this table is because we want every student to have the best study desk in their dormitory to help them achieve their goal.
